Smith may be more well-known for her role as Amanda Young, in the Saw film series and Linda Becker in CBS's comedy show Becker. Smith was once a member of the band metal Fydolla Ho. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner who was also an oncology nurse. Her birthplace was Orangeburg South Carolina.
