Ky-Mani Marley was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. He was in Shottas a film that has become a legend opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his debut album, called With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. These all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a new reggae musician. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley performed at the Midem event (an international showcase of music), which was first performed in Miami. Marley performed a set live at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcasted by Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley ended up engaged in a bidding war.
